from the industrial plattenbau of Karl-Marx-Stadt to the vibrant pulse of Leipzig, my life has been a mix of heavy impro beats and cinematic crescendos, spiced with live audience, touring, many many projects and everything in between.
whether i was laying down a groove with the 3apes band or managing the madness at CASPERHAUERmusik, i always tried to bridge the gap between raw art and live presence.
now i'm a singer songwriter with a filmmaker's eye and a producer who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty.
they say i'm headstrong. i say art needs a spine.
i believe in character over polish and the kind of stubbornness that makes a song unforgettable.

Ringo Said feat. Robert P.Mau and Wiebke Wonder Wolter, one of 3apes' emotional milestone. The total production of this song took four years, mostly due to bad timing, but eventually everything came together. The But's Robert on the keys, Wiebke on the vocals and all apes together until no end.
Ivor Biggun. Gorgeous Live Rehearsal @ The Cage. Recorded on the beginning of the 3apes' last chapter, you feel the raw energy and the joy of the three musicians to perform in their very own cage. The audio was simple, but rare and authentic and you're very near inside their heads.

A quick animated demo (featuring public archives), visualizing the vibe for this mockumentary project about a real hidden GDR clone far away in Africa. Following an unbelievable story, we were catching rare moments with contemporary witnesses, deep into the unfolding incomprehensibility of the truth. Sport is the people's opium.
